Attention scrimmage times and location have changed see below:

 

We will be traveling to Crockett on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 for a scrimmage.

The following two Franklin teams will be attending:

Mitey Mites - Coach / Jimbo Spiller

Junior PeeWee - Coach / Tommy Luhn

 

Mitey Mites will play at 10:00AM and Junior PeeWee will start at 1:00PM.

Mitey Mites will play at 9:30AM and Junior PeeWee will start at 11:00AM.

Flag and cheer squads do not need to be present. Books will be certified without the players present.

Are you ready for some football?

Things are heating up and we are just about to start our 2010 football season. Practices should be starting August 2nd, so your coaches should be calling you to give you the details. We would like to remind everyone to get your paperwork completed and turned in to your coach or team mom by the end of the first week of practice. Also if you haven't had your child's physical done yet you will need to have it done by the start of practices. Your child will not be allowed to practice until this physical has been completed and turned in. Also if your child is playing tackle football please take time to read the Tackle Football FAQ. These are items you will need by the second week of practice.

Due to many people calling still wanting to sign up, we are adding an additional sign-up day for football and cheer sign-ups. We will hold a final registration day on Saturday June 5th @ the Franklin United Methodist Church (Activities Building) from 9AM to 12PM. Anyone who wishes to sign-up after this date will be reviewed on a case by case basis, will be subject to a "late registrarion fee", or may be declined participation. If you wish to play football or cheer you come to this sign-up.

 If you are already signed up but know someone who is thinking about playing then get them to come in and get registered. Please help get the word out.

We have also reduced our registration fee for cheer-leading from $175 to $50. This should make it more affordable for girls wanting to participate in our cheer-leading program. We will hold a separate fundraiser to pay for the cheer-leading uniforms. This will help remove this cost from our parents.
